Caboolture - Beachmere Road, improve safety
Construction is underway to implement safety improvements for Caboolture – Beachmere Road (locally known as Beachmere Road) and enhance overall driving conditions.
The widened road dedicated right-turn lanes, and wide centre line treatment will enhance safety for motorists. The improved linemarking and shoulder will also provide extra space for vehicles to pass on-road bike riders more safely.
With dedicated right-turn lanes at Riversleigh Road and the Marina, traffic flow will be improved, reducing delays and congestion at these intersections. Through traffic will be able to continue unimpeded, contributing to better overall network efficiency.
The completion of this project will improve safety for all road users, improve travel times, journey reliability and increase regional connectivity and economic growth.

Key features
- Widening priority sections to provide 9m road width between Jocelyn Street and west of King Johns Creek.
- Additional linemarking to include 1m wide shoulders on both side of Beachmere Road and wide centre line that will improve the separation of vehicles. The shoulders and wide centre line treatment will also provide extra width for vehicles to pass on-road bike riders more safely.
- An intersection upgrade at Riversleigh Road to provide a dedicated right-turn lane for eastbound motorists.
- Marina access upgrade providing a dedicated right-turn lane for eastbound motorists.
- Resurfacing between Jocelyn Street and Egan Avenue to improve ride quality.
