The map products provided are produced and maintained by the Corporate Mapping Unit of Roads Information Branch.
Corporate Mapping is a specialist technical unit devoted to cartographic activities. It produces thematic map products in both electronic and paper based format for both Main Roads and Queensland Transport. The products are designed to assist both organisations administer their major assets - the State's transport infrastructure networks.
The maps enable users to identify relationships between roads, railways, local government areas, towns, cities and the department's engineering and administrative regions.
Please note: Main Roads is changing its boundaries in response to the Queensland Government's Local Government Reform. Main Roads' new regional structure will provide a better level of service to connect our Queensland communities. We will be progressively updating our maps, as they are available, to reflect the new boundaries. Thank you for your patience while we make these changes.
