On December 11, 2008, Main Roads launched the roadwork safety campaign as part of a commitment to workplace safety on Queensland roads. Participants experienced first-hand the hazards at roadworks for roadworkers, drivers and their passengers, and the importance of slowing down and driving to the posted speed limits.
