Queensland state-controlled roads and region maps
The map products provided within this section of the Main Roads website are produced and maintained by the Corporate Mapping Unit of Geospatial Technologies Branch.
Corporate Mapping is a specialist technical unit devoted to cartographic activities. It produces thematic map products in both electronic and paper based format for both Main Roads and Queensland Transport. The products are designed to assist both organisations administer their major assets: the state's transport infrastructure networks.
The maps enable users to identify relationships between roads, railways, local government areas, towns, cities and the department's engineering and administrative regions.

The map provides a quick reference for determining the relationship between Main Roads' regions and the new local governments.

State Road Network of Queensland map
This is a large-format, double-sided map that folds into an A4 brochure map.
Produced annually, the map shows the state-controlled road network by state strategic classification, national network, local roads of regional significance along with standard of construction, roadside amenities and both local government and Main Roads' administrative boundaries.
