Library services
Library Services provides access to library and information resources including corporate images through resource discovery and management, research, training and document delivery to Department of Transport and Main Roads staff.
Subject coverage includes: road and bridge design and construction, civil engineering, surveying, traffic engineering and control, transport economics, transport planning, road safety, passenger and public transport, freight transport, marine engineering, ports and shipping.
By appointment the public can use the Library collection for research purposes. Restrictions apply.
Information for libraries
The library participates in interlibrary lending of resources and accepts payment by ALIA library vouchers only.
The library provides holdings details to Libraries Australia (NUC: QMR) and Transport and Main Roads portfolio publication details to ARRB Transport Research for inclusion on the Australian Transport Index (ATRI) database.
The library is a member of the Queensland Government Libraries Consortia and Tranzinfo.
