| Warrego Highway widening (Morven to Charleville) | South West |
The state controlled portion of the Warrego Highway is being widened and upgraded at a total cost of 1.1 million to improve safety and allow access to type-two road trains in the future.
The department is investing $1.1 million to widen a 3.7 kilometre stretch of the Warrego Highway (Morven to Charleville) near Angellala Creek about 17 kilometres west of Morven, from 6 metres to 8 metres sealed width. Work also includes construction of the immediate approaches to the Annie Switzer Bridge. |
