Construction of the Abbott Street Deviation. Install traffic signals at intersection of the Bruce Highway and Abbott Street.

The project involves lowering a 1.4 km section of the Brisbane to Sydney freight rail corridor by about 10 m and building a new 140-metre long overpass including three traffic lanes in each direction.

Implementing the recommendations from the December 2007 Brisbane Airport Task Force report on improving access to the airport.

The Angellala Creek, Annie Switzer Bridge is located on the Warrego Highway between Morven and Charleville in the state's south west region. This section of the Warrego Highway is part of the state-controlled road network.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is installing a 5.3 metre height restriction barrier on the Ann Street on-ramp in the Brisbane CBD.

Completion of this project links the centre of Caboolture at King Street to the Caboolture bypass.

There is ongoing program of projects to seal the Blackall Jericho Road.

The project involves rehabilitating and widening a 6 km section of road to an 8.5 m sealed width.

Works include:

• constructing two new lanes (west bound)
• upgrading existing road to two lanes (east bound)
• constructing new cross-road drainage structures and upgrading existing ones
• constructing two new fauna underpasses using timber fauna logs
• installing traffic signals at the intersections of Boundary Road/Springacre Road and Boundary Road/Dinwoodie Road

Reconstructing affected property accesses along the route upgrading road lighting.

The replacement of the low level culvert with the new single-span, two-lane concrete bridge.
