Design guide for roadside signs
This manual sets out guidelines for the design and erection of roadside signs.
This guide does not cover cantilevers and gantries that overhang the carriageway.

The guide has a various tables to assist the sign support designer in determining the correct size of supports according to the proper and standardised criteria.
This guide also supports TraSiS software. This Main Roads developed software is an automated design tool that quickly and easily designs support structures with regard to the necessary criteria found in the Design Guide for Roadside Signs.
