Main Roads Annual Report 2007–08
The Main Roads Annual Report 2007–08 and the Main Roads Financial Report 2007–08 outline how we continue to work toward our vision of ‘Main Roads—Connecting Queensland’.
The annual report is one important way we connect with our stakeholders and inform them about our activities and the services delivered by the department. The annual report outlines a continued commitment to improve our services to all Queenslanders.
This annual report is an account of how:
- well we have delivered these services
- in a growth state, we continue to provide a safe, efficient and reliable road network as part of an integrated transport system.
The Financial Report 2007–08 provides a detailed account of assets, liabilities, equities, revenues and expenses of the department and the entities it controls.
A compliance checklist outlining the governance, performance, reporting compliance and procedural requirements of the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 and the Financial Management Standard 1997 is also available.
